We are a small, independent valet parking service. We collect what we need to park your car and give it back to you, and nothing else. We do not sell your information, we do not run advertising trackers, and we never see your card details on this website.
LAX Valet is an independent valet parking service operating near Los Angeles International Airport. We are not affiliated with LAX, Los Angeles World Airports, or any airline. This policy covers laxcarvalet.com and the booking, tracking, and reservation tools on it.
| What | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Your name and phone number | To recognize you at the curb and to text or call you about your reservation. |
| Your email address | To send your reservation details and your tracking link. |
| Your vehicle: year, make, model, color, and license plate | To identify your car, to park it, and to make sure the right car goes back to the right person. |
| Your travel details: dates, terminal, airline, and flight number | To be at the right place at the right time, and to know when a delay affects your pickup. |
| Anything you type into the notes field | Whatever you asked us to know. Please do not put sensitive information here. |
| Photographs of your vehicle | A condition record taken when we receive your car and when we return it, so pre-existing damage is documented rather than argued about. Up to twenty photographs per reservation, deleted 30 days after your reservation ends. |
| Whether you ticked the offers box | So we only email you offers if you actually asked for them. |
We keep a record of the status of your reservation as it moves along, and the time you confirmed your car came back in the condition you left it, if you used that button.
We use one cookie, and it is only ever set on the operator's own device when he signs in to run the business. It keeps him signed in and does nothing else. Customers browsing or booking are not given a cookie, so there is no cookie banner here to click through.
Your reservation comes with a tracking link and a six-character car code. Anyone who has the link or the code can see that reservation's status, your name, your vehicle, your travel dates, the price and payment status, and the condition photographs โ including the printable invoice. That is deliberate, so you can forward it to whoever is picking you up. Treat it the way you would treat a boarding pass: do not post it publicly. Your phone number, email address, and notes are never shown on those pages.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We do not have partners who receive it. It is handled by the following service providers purely so this website can work:
Beyond that, we will disclose information only if the law requires it, or if we genuinely need to in order to establish or defend a legal claim, such as a dispute over damage to a vehicle.
Reservations are kept while your car is with us and afterwards as a business and tax record, and to defend against a claim made after the fact. Condition photographs are deleted automatically 30 days after your reservation ends. If you would like your reservation deleted sooner, ask us and we will delete it, unless we are required to keep it or it is the subject of an open dispute.
California's Consumer Privacy Act imposes formal obligations on businesses above certain thresholds, which turn on annual revenue, the number of consumers whose information is handled, and revenue from selling personal information. A business of our size is very unlikely to meet any of them. We will honour requests of this kind regardless of whether we are legally required to.
This service is for adults renting parking for their own vehicle. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.
Your reservation is stored privately and served over an encrypted connection, and the operator's tools are behind a login. No system is perfectly secure, and we are not going to claim otherwise. If something happens that affects your information, we will tell you.
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the version date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
Questions, corrections, deletion requests, or anything else about this policy: call or text (213) 444-8979.
